🏔️ Region-Specific Tips (Recommended by Chamo)
1. Lucerne & Interlaken
Pilatus: Even in late May, the summit is freezing. Pack gloves! The Toboggan run is a must-do.
Iseltwald Cycling: Rent an E-Bike from Interlaken (approx. 2–3 hours). Standard bikes are difficult due to the hills.
Paragliding: Always wear the shoes provided by the company. The take-off areas on the mountain are often muddy.
2. Grindelwald & Jungfrau
Lake Oeschinen: If traveling with elderly parents, consider the electric bus for the return trip, as the incline is steeper than expected.
Jungfrau VIP Ticket: Includes a 10% Coop discount coupon for Interlaken/Grindelwald—very useful for grocery shopping.
First Activities: On sunny days, even arriving at 9:00 AM can result in 2+ hour wait times. Aim for the first gondola at 8:00 AM.
Trottibike: The slope is steep and picks up speed quickly. Beginners should exercise extreme caution.
3. Zermatt
Gornergrat: The right side of the train offers the best views. Note that Lake Riffelsee may still be frozen in early June.
Sunnegga: The tunnel path leading to the funicular is very chilly. Bring a jacket.
Market Tip: Migros in Zermatt has more variety than Coop. Note that alcohol is sold in a separate wine shop next to the main entrance.

🍱 Food & Homemade Meals
Used Airbnb kitchens to save costs while enjoying delicious Korean-style meals.
Home-cooked: Raclette, oven-baked chicken, fresh pasta, Pork Belly Kimbap, and Inari sushi (Yubu-chobap) lunch boxes.
Market Recommendations: Coop Baguette (becomes "crispy outside, soft inside" when baked), Coop Rotisserie Chicken (Recommended on Fridays).
Essentials from Korea: Kimbap seaweed, sesame oil, bamboo rolling mat, Kimchi, Ssamjang (soybean paste), and Furikake.

💡 Essential Travel Prep Tips
Weather Management: Check the MeteoSwiss app daily and be ready to spontaneously change locations to wherever the sun is shining.
Clothing: Even in May/June, mountain peaks can be below freezing. Gloves, heat packs, and light down jackets are essential.
Photography: Leisee Lake (Sunnegga) and the Gornergrat rocky outcrops are the best spots for Matterhorn "life shots." Bring a tripod for night sky/star photography.
Jungfrau Reservation: On peak days or during perfect weather, the railway can sell out. Book the day before to be safe.
