Trip to Europe
■ Luggage storage at the train station
Let's not do the stupid thing of traveling in Switzerland with a heavy carrier. Most stations in Switzerland have coin lockers or manned lockers. There are coin lockers in Interlaken, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich, Zermatt, Grindelwald and Lausanne, which are popular with Koreans. The cost is slightly different for each size and station, and it can be considered as about CHF 5~9. We don't give you change, so always have coins ready. In addition, if you insert coins and the balance does not decrease, there is something wrong with the locker, so press the return button and try again or store your luggage in a different compartment.
■ Luggage storage at the accommodation
Most hotels and hostels in Switzerland provide free luggage storage. As Swiss people have difficult check-in and check-out times, leaving their luggage at the accommodation and traveling is one of the best ways to do so.
■ Luggage storage on the train
No matter how much Switzerland is known to be a safe country, we are travelers. It's easy to be a target for pickpockets, so don't keep your luggage far away, but keep it close to your eyes. On Swiss trains, there are spaces between the chairs, so you can store your luggage more safely if you place them between them.
